Hello, I’m Dr. Torrey Rothstein, Dental Director of Sonrisas Dental Health. We hope that you and your family are in good health.  Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines.  While much has changed, one thing has remained the same: Sonrisas Dental Health’s commitment to your safety.

Our office is eager to re-open, to see your smiling faces again.  In order to do so, we are making any necessary changes to our centers, following guidance and recommendations made by the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the CDC, the Occupational Safety and health Administration and the California Department of Public Health, to name a few.

Until we can see you again, please continue your good oral health routines, including brushing for two minutes twice a day, flossing daily, and monitoring what you eat and how often you eat.  If possible, avoid snacking between meals, but if you have to then consider fruits and vegetables, cheese or nuts.  Limiting sugars and carbohydrates to mealtimes and help reduce your risk of developing cavities.

And if you feel you are experiencing a dental emergency, please call our San Mateo Center at 650-727-3480, or Coastside Center at 650-726-2144 and a dentist will help guide you through what options are available to you.

Thank you for joining me today and doing your part to keep yourself, your family, and our community safe.
