If you are a dentist, hygienist, oral surgeon, pediatric dentist, or have other skills, we need you!

There is no one-size-fits-all volunteer commitment at Sonrisas. Even if you can spare only a few hours of your time, you will make a valuable contribution to the quality of someone's life. You can provide professional service at the Sonrisas Community Dental Center in Half Moon Bay, or accept referrals from Sonrisas in your private practice on a reduced or pro bono basis. We will assist with Spanish interpretation if needed. We also need non-dental volunteers to help us with outreach programs and community events.

You will never meet more grateful patients than those you help through Sonrisas. A majority of the families we treat work in agriculture or the service industry. They are residents of our community who work and live here, and are striving to create a better life for their families.

Whether you work fulltime, are retired, between jobs, or looking for an opportunity to work with other dental professionals who share your values, Sonrisas is a wonderful place to be.
